ODD joins the Rec Center for a Donor Dash!
The AJF PRSSA Chapter will be co-hosting the 2nd annual Rowan Donor Dash 5K Walk/Run on April 17th, 2009.
The Rec Center and PRSSA are co-sponsering the Rowan University Donor Dash. The Donor Dash is a 3.1 mile race/walk around the Rowan Campus. Rowan students, faculty/staff, and community members are eligible to participate. In the event that you would like to donate but cannot participate, donations will be taken at the race check-in table or at the Rec Center Front Desk.
The first 50 people to sign up will receive an Organ Donor Day (ODD) t-shirt at the race check-in.

The Donald J. Farrell III Memorial Scholarship - Boonton Township, Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Local 392
The Donald J. Farrell III Memorial Scholarship fund was organized after Donald’s life was taken from him suddenly and unfortunately in 2008. The scholarship will honor a high school student from Mountain Lakes High School who demonstrates an effort within their community and throughout their studies. Every year, the student who posses courage, integrity, and a clear desire to excel will be awarded the scholarship.
Event Details:
No streets will be crossed during the run. The race will be on Friday, April 17th, with check-in at from 1pm - 1:45pm at the Edgewood side of the Intramural Field. The event begins at 2pm. Please see the race map below so you are familiar with the trail, but volunteers will be stationed at certain locations to direct you in the right path.
In the event of inclement weather, the rain date for this event is Friday, April 24th. with race check-in at 1pm - 1:45pm at the same location and event starts at 2pm. Those individuals that cannot participate will be issued a refund.
Registration Information:
The registration deadline is Tuesday, April 14th at 7pm at the Rec Center Front Desk. Divisions offered are Men's Student, Men's Non-Student, Women's Student, and Women's Non-Student. The fee is $15.
Each division winner will receive an intramural champion t-shirt. Varsity Track and Cross Country runners may participate, but are not eligible for prizes.
